On December 20, the 2023 Bloomberg Green ESG50 Outstanding List eventwas successfully held in Suzhou. ESG leaders and top executives from globally renowned enterprises gathered to discuss innovative initiatives in the ESG domain, collectively driving innovative development and further promoting the transformation process toward a green and low-carbon economy.
Bloomberg, a globally recognized provider of business, financial information, and news, with international authority in economic commentary, owns the brand “Bloomberg Green”. As China's first media information platform comprehensively focusing on climate change, sustainability, and the green economy, combined with ESG information disclosed by companies and opinions from a comprehensive expert review panel, and its own transparent ESG data and ratings, the platform aims to identify the best ESG practices among listed companies in various industries. This showcases the outstanding contributions of ESG pioneers and encourages investor attention to discover the ESG value of excellent listed companies.
This selection aims to recognize companies that have made outstanding contributions in the ESG field in 2023. After nearly six months of evaluation, Kingfa stood out among hundreds of participating companies, receiving the highest honor on the list - “Enterprise of the Year” Award.
This year, Kingfa released the first ESG report in the domestic plastics industry. The report covers 23 topics, including climate change mitigation, energy management, circular economy, product quality and safety, and compliance operations. The report's special section, titled “Maximize Plastic's Use, Create Green Future,” highlights Kingfa as the first company in the industry to propose a carbon strategy and carbon goals. The company plans to produce one million tons of green plastics, recycle one million tons of plastic waste, and produce one million tons of recycled plastics by 2030.
Furthermore, Kingfa actively practices green manufacturing, making comprehensive investments from the perspectives of energy and resource dimensions in the management system. Currently, it has built four nationally certified green factories.
Kingfa consistently adheres to the principles of sustainable development. In response to China's dual-carbon goals for 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060, Kingfa has initiated the “Green, Low-Carbon, Circular” action.
